Synopsis
A look into the many lives of Christa Päffgen, otherwise known as Nico; from cutie German mädchen to the first of the supermodels, to glamorous diva of the Velvet Underground, to cult item, junkie and hag. Many faces for the same woman, whom, you realize, just couldn't bring herself to care enough to live.

MARTINIt could have been a fascinating document if the director was interested in its subject. German filmmaker revels in the story, lingering on the Delon's case, devoting half of the film to "Vogue" years, without evoking the concert in the Reims Cathedral, nor showing a single Nico's song in total. Ofteringer didn't think neither to include La dolce vita extract in original version... It is a didactic work, a moralistic documentary: one of the highlights of the film is the moment when Lutz reveals that Nico initiated her son to heroin. Shame!Created on 5/9/2016
