      New York Daily News

Peter Pan has been done in the style for which Disney is noted. It is one of his best productions and, I believe, is closer to the author's idea than any other presentation of the story, as the Disney medium is ideally adapted to the fantasy.

      A wonderful movie.

It has always been around and easy to take for granted. But its lack of pretension weathers years nicely. [09 Mar 2007, p.12D]

      Time

Ornamented with some bright and lilting tunes, it is a lively feature-length Technicolor excursion into a world that glows with an exhilarating charm and a gentle joyousness.

      Empire

Definitely a Disney classic but misses out much of the darker side of J.M.Barrie's fantasy tale.

      The New York Times

A wholly amusing and engaging piece of work within the defined limitations of the aforementioned Disney style. The Disney inventions are as skillful and clever as they have ever been.

      The A.V. Club

Though Barrie's stories are about a rite of passage into adulthood, Disney's Peter Pan treats the issue superficially, retreating from the dark places of movies like Pinocchio in favor of amped-up tomfoolery.

      Time Out

If you can view it without thinking of Disney f***ing about with yet another children's classic and relax in the studio's last decent use of Technicolor, then you're in for a treat.
