TheWrap
It’s an utterly fascinating, mysterious, and often experimental character study of someone who is hard to understand because they fundamentally don’t understand themselves. - 70
Film Threat
The individual sequences, along with the confidence with which the two lead actors navigate the sometimes-turbulent currents, elevate the film into the realm of art. After all, sometimes it’s okay for the whole to be less than the sum of its parts. - 70
The Hollywood Reporter
This is a bittersweet comedy-drama that manages to be hilarious in one scene and extremely touching in the next. - 63
Movie Nation
Director, co-writer and star Nicolas Maury (“Dear Prudence,” “Paris, je t’aime”) serves up a dry comedy that invites us to watch Jérémie suffer and laugh at him as he haplessly copes with everything confronting him over the course of this lightly-amusing film (titled “Garçon chiffon” in French). - 60
Screen Rant
Equal parts hilarious and heartwarming, My Best Part is a sweet exploration of the absurdities of life and a celebration of what's worth living for.
