This movie is a reminder that we should not have to wait to fly above the clouds to keep our lives wild and precious. - 67
IndieWire
Clouds keeps its focus squarely on the ground from start to finish, and it soars that much higher for it. - 63
The Globe and Mail (Toronto)
Anyone who has ever watched a movie about young love and the C-word (no, not Clouds) will know exactly where the film is headed, as well as the obligatory narrative beats that stretch out the inevitable. But for a sob story, Clouds is not nearly as watery as it could have been. - 50
Movie Nation

Slashfilm
While Clouds absolutely has its heart in the right place, that heart doesn’t translate into a similarly winning story. - 50
The New York Times
While Clouds is as doe-eyed and puppyish as an acoustic serenade, Baldoni is wise to recognize that attention must be paid to Zach’s survivors. - 50
Los Angeles Times
At a distended two hours, the film becomes a bit of a slog as it deliberately tracks Sobiech’s senior year of high school as he bravely marches — with equal parts humor and sorrow — toward his demise.
