Roberto de Castro Moreira, better known as Roberto Frota (January 26, 1939, Rio de Janeiro) is an actor, director, producer, writer and Brazilian theatrical author.

He started his artistic career in 1969. Roberto Frota was born in the German Hospital, in the district of Tijuca, in the city of Rio de Janeiro, then federal capital of Brazil.
