DIRECTING
Nicolas Piret is a Belgian artist and director who graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts and ENSAV La Cambre.
His various backgrounds in contemporary drawing, comics and animation led to his graduation film La bride - The dog's leash (2022), selected at the Student Academy Awards® - Oscars.
In 2024, he directed Silent Panorama, which had its world premiere at the IFFR in Rotterdam, followed by Karlovy Vary, Annecy, SXSW and Toronto (TIFF) His films, animated alone and entirely by hand with meticulous attention to detail, have been recognized for their craft by the American Film Institute..
