Jamshid Mahmoudi, director, producer and writer of cinema was born in 1361 and is an Iranian of Afghan origin.

So far, he has participated in more than 200 national and international film festivals, and three of his films have been nominated for the best non-English language film by the country of Afghanistan to the Oscar Academy.
