The New York Times
So studiously wild and woolly it turns out to be good fun. - 60
Variety
The Comancheros is a big, brash, uninhibited action-western of the old school about as subtle as a right to the jaw. - 50
TV Guide Magazine
The Comancheros is not a terrible film; in fact much of it is entertaining. But it is obviously the effort of two talented men far from their peak powers. - 50
Chicago Reader
