Film Threat
Chick Fight is an effective and modern twist on the classic fight club story. It, in many ways, reaches audiences in ways that other films with a primarily female cast are unable and delivers neverending excitement, intensity, and entertainment. - 50
Movie Nation
For a bad movie, it’s a fun. - 50
The Hollywood Reporter
There are some undeniably amusing moments, thanks largely to a cast unafraid to throw themselves into the raunchiness and violence with full abandon, but it's hard to avoid the feeling that the film represents a missed opportunity. - 50
Variety
Instead of the cleavage, hair-pulling and Jerry Springer antics it teases, Chick Fight serves up a blandly formulaic and scrupulously inoffensive tale of female empowerment. - 38
Boston Globe
Both writer and director are men, which perhaps explains why much of the talk in Chick Fight about female empowerment and channeling one’s womanly rage comes off as lip service on the way to the next beat-down or snuggle-up. - 25
IndieWire
While the premise of Chick Fight may be featherweight, it’s the film’s phony feminist execution that turns it into a real loser.
