Synopsis
When traditional grandmother Verna, suffers a stroke, her estranged daughter Ellen, returns to their modest home, facing the role of caregiver to both her ailing mother and her teenage daughter. As Verna’s memories blur and long-buried family secrets resurface, Ellen confronts painful truths about her past.
